Hello! I'm Seth, and this is my web comic about working in a QA department.

After graduating from RIT, I worked for L3Harris Technologies (formerly Harris Corporation) for over 10 years. I was in the SDV (Software Design Verification) department, where I was the lead automated test developer for the Falcon III HF Radio product line. I enjoyed my time there! The HF and SDV teams are, in my opinion, the best teams to work for at L3Harris.

A big part of the job is working with broken or incomplete products. As you can imagine, that can lead to some chaos. Every day I walked through the office door, I never knew what I was in store for me. Many of the comics on this website are inspired by me trying to navigate that uncertainty.

While the comics poke fun at my time working in QA, I don't want anyone to think that the engineers designing these products are building bad quality radios. A lot of smart, talented, and hard-working engineers are behind each of those radios. While every release cycle had its chaotic moments, by the time a release left the building they were rock-solid, battle-tested, and ready to be used in the field. Many of the situations in the comics are exaggerated for humor (no, we never had to break out the fire extinguisher in real life).
